Turnaround for drafting a petition is typically about 3-5 business days from the time I have all relevant paperwork and payment, including deposit of the fixed fee in my trust account.
Once everything is drafted and signed by all necessary parties, I will determine the next available day that I can travel to the appropriate Court to submit the petition if permitted by the Court, or it will be e-filed if Santa Clara County.
Santa Clara County filings will generally take about 30-45 days for the Court to process, while “urgent” submissions may take 3-5 days.
San Mateo County can be processed the same day, which Contra Costa County can often be processed same day as well.
